We offer a wide range of high quality educational services responding to the needs of individual students and to local and national demands. We are at the forefront of educational change and, for many years, have been a leader in the development of Further Education in Ireland. Our FE colleges offer an extensive choice of full-time courses at levels 5 and 6 and our community and adult education services provide a comprehensive range of part-time programmes at levels 1 to 5 in a variety of centres throughout the locality.
Our educational provision is underpinned by a commitment to equality of access and inclusivity and we place the student at the centre of all our activity.
I hope that you will enjoy browsing our website and that, if you choose to study with us, Dún Laoghaire VEC can offer you a happy and fulfilling educational experience.

Dún Laoghaire College of Further Education has a student body of almost 800 full-time learners. The college provides excellent, all round training in many aspects of media and sound, computing and technology, business, health and sport, arts and humanities.

Sallynoggin College of Further Education offers a diverse range of courses for Post Leaving Certificate and mature students. More than 20 courses of one or two years in duration are on offer. The college has strong links with industry and the professions.

SCD is one of Ireland's largest stand-alone Further Education Colleges with over 1,000 full-time and 450 part-time learners. The College prides itself on being a national leader in innovation, course development and the provision of a range of courses with links to industry.

Youthreach caters for early school leavers aged 16 and over. The programme aims to impart an awareness of the importance of sport and education, to encourage the social and educational development of participants and to enable them to reach their full potential.

The aim of the Adult and Community-Based Education Service is to deliver and support a quality driven integrated service in response to individual and community needs as identified in the Dún Laoghaire VEC Education Plan 2006-2010.
